Hi, we are the Tran’s. We’re originally from California’s Central Coast, although life has taken us on a few scenic detours. After college, I traded dreams of changing the world for a career in tech—where I spend my weekdays helping build “the next big thing” and wondering why every meeting could have been an email.

My wife, Breana, and I have always loved chasing new adventures. What started as weekend road trips eventually grew into a passion for exploring wherever the road leads. Along the way we’ve brewed more beer than we probably should have, pedaled countless miles on our bikes, camped under the stars, and collected enough family stories to keep us laughing for years.

These days our biggest adventure is raising our son, Cato. He has quickly become our favorite travel companion, professional snack critic, and enthusiastic inspector of every rock, stick, and puddle we encounter. We also share our home with Jasper, man’s best friend, and Sophie, our cat, who remains thoroughly unimpressed by all of our adventures.

After spending several wonderful years in Colorado, we eventually found our way back home to Atascadero, California, where we’re raising our family while continuing to explore one road trip, campground, and hidden gem at a time.

Welcome to Our Life in Transit. We’re glad you’re along for the ride.
